Settings dashboard
Configuring all Previo modules is a fairly complex process, and many aspects and settings are highly subjective. That’s one reason why we’ve created the “Settings Overview.” It serves as a basic guide that directs you to the most important settings you need to configure before you start using your profile.
These are truly the most important items—without them, it will be difficult to list and sell your accommodations – plus the settings required to meet legal obligations for accommodation provider.
After you complete the settings, individual sections will either be automatically marked as completed, or some will need to be manually marked as complete (for example, for photos, we do not evaluate whether three uploaded photos are sufficient, etc.). From each setup item, you can also create a task for a specific user who should review and complete the settings. Each section also includes a link to the module’s settings via the “Go to Settings” button.
The sections that are automatically evaluated are as follows:
- Prices—the basic pricing plan must be filled out and cover at least 365 days in advance.
- Payment Plans—For the base pricing plan, a valid payment plan must exist for the current day.
- Meals—For the base pricing plan, a meal pricing plan valid for the current day must be set up (or the option must be selected indicating that you do not offer meals or have only one meal included in the price).
- Local tax – You must have a set of accommodation fees configured that is valid for the current day.
- Ubyport – Legislation > You have filled in the information required to report foreign guests to the Foreign Police (basic information is sufficient, plus any additional information required for registration in the Foreign Police’s web service).
- Czech Statistical Office (ČSÚ) – Legislation > You have entered the identification number assigned by the Czech Statistical Office, under which you submit regular monthly reports.
Since these items are evaluated automatically, it may happen over time that certain sections are marked as unresolved again—typically, for example, if you forget to extend or set up payment plans (allowed payment methods) for the following year, or if you haven’t entered prices for the coming year etc.
