Alfred profile
Users can also benefit from so called Alfred profile. Which allows to save the guest personal information + the information from fellow travellers (e.g. family members) for future reservations and their online check-in.
With Alfred profile prefilled information from the profile can be used for the purpose of the online check-in in any hotel using the Alfred app. Personal information in the Alfred profile are therefore not saved for single hotels but are saved separately and guest can only use this presaved data when filling in check-in when visiting specific hotel (and at that moment information about guest are saved for specific hotel as a record in its guest database).
How can guest create and Alfred profile?
After logging in to the Alfred app in any hotel guest are suggested to create profile. For creation and following verification of the profile there are 4 possible ways. Guests can create profile/log in using:
- Sending of email to specific email address (email contains unique login link which needs to be openned)
- Google account
- Facebook account
- Apple ID
Except the first “email” option you will have to confirm logging in using selected app. For the next login from the same device (for example Google account) you will not have to fill in the login details again and you will be redirected straight to your Alfred profile. For email verification you need to log in using the link from the email.
How to use Alfred profile?
After completed online check-in guest will be asked about creating of Alfred profile (using the 4 possible methods described above) and saving already filled in information in it.
In next reservation (in different hotel using Alfred) when openning check-in section of the first guest a pop up window will appear with the list of already saved guest information which can be prefilled.
Alfred profile contains all information from first two check-in steps. All personal information (address, date of birth, number and document type, visa number) + contact email and phone.
Saving co-travellers into the Alfred profile
Alfred profile can be used also for saving co-travellers (e.g. family members) information. You do not have to look for the passport/document numbers etc.
Saving of other people information is very simple. After filling them in for the first time you will get similar pop-up window with possibility of saving these information to Alfred profile. This way you can save as many people to your Alfred profile as you want.
When openning the check-in all prefilled/saved guests appear in suggestions. User clicks on the first guest in Alfred and selects his own information from the Alfred profile, then clicks on second guest and selects different saved person etc.
