Profitroom
To set up a connection to Previo, please contact your Profitroom partner, who will then provide us with all the necessary information for the connection.
Our support team will then agree with you the details of the linking if necessary, in particular which rooms from Previo you want to link to the corresponding rooms in Profitroom and also to coordinate the linking of rate plans. Once these details have been finalized, we will start preparing the linking.
Once the connection is activated, the Profitroom partner will usually send a test reservation to Previo.
Additional services/Services
We do not map additional services (“Services”) within the channel manager. If an additional service has been ordered for a downloaded booking, we will automatically add it to the hotel account with the service name and the correct price.
ATTENTION! If the service is ordered after the reservation has been created, this information is only entered in the reservation note and the price must be adjusted manually.
The VAT for the additional service is not transferred from Profitroom and is automatically saved with the default VAT rate set in Previo.
What data we send to Profitroom
- We send only room availability (rooms for sale) to Profitroom, which can be updated from the reservation calendar or the pricelist. In this case, the Stop Sell closure restriction (room status) is not supported.
- Alternatively, we send all data to Profitroom, including availability (with Stop Sell), prices, and restrictions, except for the minimum advance.
How the reservation overwriting works
All new reservations are automatically downloaded into Previo, and you will receive an email confirmation for each new booking.
Once downloaded, reservations are automatically placed in the reservation calendar or the floating reservation panel. You can also track all reservations, including any cancellations, in the (tabular) reservation overview.
Credit cards and the booking source are downloaded automatically into Previo.
ATTENTION! If you are switching from Previo Channel Manager to Profitroom, you must take into account that automatic changes, including cancellations, will not work for bookings that were originally downloaded under the Previo Channel Manager connection.
*Owner Override for Service Items in the Reservation Account
The owner of a room account item is only assigned if the reservation is 100% paid.
* Correct display of meals
Profitroom does not send information about the included meals directly in the reservation code, but only in the reservation note.
In order to save reservations with the correct meal information, it is necessary to map the meals or create a separate meal rate for the requested meals for the rate plan. If the meals are not handle in any way, the default meals set in Previo are always saved in the reservation.
*Correct display of cancellation terms
In order to save reservations under the correct cancellation terms (i.e. Flexible and Non-Refundable reservations), it is necessary to map the rate plans from Profitroom to the corresponding rate plans in Previo.
Therefore, if you have set up a Non-Refundable rate plan in Profitroom, you must create a rate plan in Previo with the corresponding non-refundable cancellation terms and report this to us for mapping.
* Display the type of rate plan
If you want to distinguish the type of rate plan under which a reservation is created on Profitroom (for example, a special wellness package), you must create a separate rate plan in Previo with a similar name that links to this program. In the reservation on the room account, you will then see in the top right corner which rate plan the reservation was created under.
ATTENTION! If you add a new rate plan or room type on the Profitroom side, it is necessary to report this change to us at support@previo.cz to modify the mapping.
