Amazing Places
Amazing Places is a platform focused on unique and exceptional accommodations, including hotels, guesthouses, wellness facilities, and other distinctive lodging options in scenic locations or with unique concepts, such as glamping, treehouses, and themed stays.
To connect with Amazing Places, you first need to have an active account with this partner. Once you do, you can request them to link to Previo. They will then provide us with the necessary details to complete the connection.
What data is transmitted to Amazing Places?
- Prices (special prices and revenue management)
- First/last minute discounts
- Availability
- Restrictions (min/max stay, arrivals/departures, stop sell)
- Downloading reservations
The minimum reservation advance restriction is not transmitted, and Amazing Places does not support this restriction, so it cannot be set in the portal extranet.
Long term stay (discount/surcharge) can only be transferred via a separate rate plan in Previo, which is linked to the price list/rate on Amazing Places 1:1. Only rate that is set as independent on Amazing Places can be linked.
Reservation transfer and payment status
Reservations are saved in the system with a modified number, so the voucher number may differ from the number in the extranet. Amazing Places does not send unique reservation numbers, which could lead to potential duplication between different hotels. However, Previo does not allow identical reservation numbers from the same partner, so the number is automatically adjusted in the system.
Reservation payment statuses
There are two payment statuses for Amazing Places reservations:
InnerState: CONFIRMED = paid
InnerState: WAITING = not paid
We indicate the payment status in the reservation note in the form : “Payment status” InnerState: CONFIRMED
Based on the payment status, an owner is assigned to the room account in Previo. Currently, Amazing Places does not send information about fees or extra services, so we only mark payment for accommodation services. Other services, such as visitor taxes, are marked based on the settings in Previo.
Visitor tax
In the case of Amazing Places, the value of the visitor tax is never sent to Previo. The tax will be added to the reservation based on the tax settings in Previo, specifically under Pricelist → Visitor tax setting.
Meals
Information on which meals are included in the respective rate is set directly at the Amazing Places price list level. To set which meals are included in the price, you need to edit the rate. This can be done from the main menu on the left side under Prices and availability → Rates section, see.
Amazing Places does not provide us with information about included meals when sending a reservation, so the meal details will always appear as not available in the reservation note. Therefore, it is necessary to create a link for meals in the connection. If no link is created for meals, the reservation will be saved with the default meals set in Previo under the Pricelist → Meals section.
Change of pricing model
You can submit rates to Amazing Places either on a per person basis (OBP pricing model) or as a single price for the entire room (PDP pricing model). We set the pricing model in the link according to the current settings in Amazing Places. If you wish to change it, please contact Amazing Places directly or edit it in the extranet under Settings → Rate type. After making the change, please inform us so we can adjust the connection accordingly.
Room setup/adjustments
If you need to add a new room type or modify an existing room type (e.g., changing the maximum capacity), you can do so in the Settings → Room Types section. Any changes in capacity or the addition of a new room type must be reported to us so we can adjust the connection accordingly.
Minimum room price: In the Amazing Places extranet, you can set a minimum room price. This setting ensures that if the price sent from Previo is lower than the set minimum price, Amazing Places will automatically apply the minimum room price. The minimum price acts as a safeguard in case there is an error when filling in the price in the price list.
Stay packages at Amazing Places
Stay packages set up in Previo under Pricelist → Stay Packages section are not transferred to the portals.
If you want to offer a stay package on the portal, this is only possible via the new price list/rate on the Amazing Places extranet.
This price list can be sent from Previo to Amazing Places in two ways:
Availability only: You set the prices and restrictions directly on the Amazing Places in consultation with them.
Complete data transfer: All data (prices, restrictions, etc.) can be sent from Previo. In this case, you need to create a new rate plan in Previo, which will be linked to the rate on the Amazing Places side. This rate plan must include prices and restrictions for the stay package (e.g., minimum length of stay).
Attention! Prices are entered into the Previo price list per night, which means that if a 2-night package costs 5000 CZK, the price per night will be 2500 CZK.
